Leon Valley is a city in Bexar County, Texas.  It is an enclave on the northwest side of San Antonio.  Leon Valley is a suburb of San Antonio with a population of 11,306. Leon Valley is one of the best places to live in Texas. Living in Leon Valley offers residents a dense suburban feel and most residents own their homes. In Leon Valley, there are a lot of restaurants and parks. Many young professionals live in Leon Valley and residents tend to lean liberal. It’s also nice that the public schools in Leon Valley are also above average.

Leon Valley invests in its own local economy.  In 2008, Leon Valley voters agreed to pass an interesting type of tax. The official name of the tax was “4B Economic Development Sales Tax.” While the name of the initiative doesn’t exactly roll off your tongue, the tax added to all sales and purchases made in Leon Valley is invested into grants for local business owners, relocation, and revitalization projects in the community. The sales tax has provided countless dollars of support since its beginnings and only takes 1/8 of a penny each purchase.

Leon Valley is also known for its beautiful parks and nature trails.  You can cut through Bandera Road from Loop 410 and end up at Loop 1604.  With a couple of nice movie theatres and shopping centers.  You’ll always have something to do in Leon Valley.  There are also many emergency clinics and hospitals nearby in the Medical Center area.  Dental offices to choose from for the family and yourselves.  Learn more about San Antonio, TX.
